Key Details About Auralite-23:
  • Origin & Discovery: Discovered in 2007 (or around 2003 by some accounts) in the boreal forest north of Lake Superior, this crystal formed in a harsh environment, sometimes described as a "Cave of Wonders" impacted by meteorites.
  • Composition: While based on amethyst, the stone features a mix of minerals, including Titanite, Cacoxenite, Lepidocrocite, Ajoite, Hematite, Magnetite, Pyrite, Goethite, Pyrolusite, Gold, Silver, Platinum, Nickel, Copper, Iron, Limonite, Sphalerite, Covellite, Chalcopyrite, Gialite, Epidote, Bornite, and Rutile.
  • Metaphysical Properties: Considered an "Ultimate Master Healer," Auralite-23 is used for deep relaxation, chakra balancing, and fostering connections with higher dimensions. It is often associated with the Northern Lights due to its calming, energetic nature.
  • Appearance: Typically presents as shades of purple (amethyst) with reddish-brown "red caps" (hematite) and metallic inclusions.
  • Rarity & Price: Due to its limited, single-source locality and hand-mining techniques, it is rare.
Usage and Care:
  • Applications: Used for jewelry, meditation aids, and, occasionally, in decorative items like countertops or polished stone slices.
  • Alternatives: If not available, stones with similar properties might include Amethyst, Cacoxenite, or Hematite.
Note: The number of minerals (up to 23) listed in the "Auralite-23" marketing term does not mean every single piece contains all 23 minerals.
