Christina Cedar Bio
I am a contented crone of Swedish heritage, who has walked upon Mother Earth for quite a while and gathered a myriad of experiences. I am blessed to be grandmother of eight, and mother of four. I have a herstory as a professional artist, singer, dancer, storyteller, celebrant, doula, clinical hypnotherapist, reiki/energy worker, runemaster, wilderness guide and published author. I have been facilitating large (over 1,500 participants) and small community, and womb'in empowerment circles, solar/lunar festivals and workshops for over forty years.
I believe despite college, university, various training centers/programs, and the kind and not so kind people I have been privileged to gain knowledge from, that my deepest wisdom has been found by walking barefoot in the fields and forests, watching a baby open their eyes to life outside the womb, and laying down upon Mother Earth to listen and feel her loving guidance. Often messages will come to me through nighttime dreams and daytime visions. In life I strive to provide opportunities for others to tap into their own inner sight, strength and truths, often with Nature and Creativity as the conduit. A child learns through play and exploration, that is the opportunity I offer in my playshops.
My husband and I live with a pleury of animals beside the beautiful banks of the Spirit River in the Central Peace Region of Alberta. I extend my gratitude to the StarLight Portal for the opportunity to share sacred space with those who feel called to play and learn with me, blessed be.
